Muttontown, New York

Muttontown is a village in the Town of Oyster Bay, NY. It was incorporated in 1931. The name Muttontown derives from colonial times, when the area was primarily used for raising sheep.

    I used to live in that house...it was originally built for the Vanderpoels as a wedding present and was never name Woodley...It was always called Woodstock, marked on the original blueprints we left with the house when it sold
